Welcome to the West Valley Humane Society ( formerly Canyon County Animal Shelter ) website! 

WVHS became a non profit 501c3 organization in October of 2011. We adopt out, reunite, spay and neuter and send to rescue between 3,000 - 4,000 animals per year.

Bodhi was a part of our 'Spay the Momma' program where anyone with a mother dog/cat and a current litter, can surrender the litter to our shelter and get the mother fixed for FREE!

Dixie is a senior American Pitbull Terrier blend who is now available for adoption! 

She is a small dog in a big dogs body, meaning that she believes she is a tiny lap dog! 

Trixie is house trained, has lived with small dogs, is great with kids and knows the 'sit' command. 

she is very gentle and is looking for a mellow home.
