Blanket Donations

The shelter is in need of blankets for our dogs. If you have any blankets you would like to donate to the shelter you can drop them off during our open hours. Tuesday through Friday 10 am to 6 pm. Thank you. For more information, email Stacy at info@canyoncountyshelter.org.
Foster Homes Needed

The shelter is in need of puppy and kitten foster homes. If you are able to provide temporary care for a litter or a single puppy or kitten, please click on the volunteer link and fill out the application. Make sure to check "Animal Foster Care" in the areas of interest section. This is a wonderful way to provide temporary responsibility for your child to see if they are ready for a pet of their own. Also, these babies will provide tons of entertainment! Foster families always have first pick for adoption, so if you have been looking for a new puppy or kitten, this is a great way to find the one that you've been looking for! The shelter is currently able to provide all the dry food for the foster animals to help minimize the cost for foster families.
