When you adopt a pet, you are part of the solution for ending the problem of homeless pets in our community. When you adopt, you help continue our work of saving many animals through rehabilitation efforts, spay and neuter surgeries, quality animal care, and promoting responsible pet ownership
At the shelter, our friendly professional staff and volunteers will help you find the pet you are looking for--one that fits into your family lifestyle. You can also meet some of the available dogs and cats at special adoption events at Petco, Petsmart, and other special venues. Watch this site for dates and times!
Our mission is to serve our community by providing compassionate care for the homeless pets in our community until they find their forever homes.
On October 1, 2011 the shelter came under new management, Canyon County Animal Shelter, which is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

The shelter is in need of temporary foster homes for puppies and dogs recovering from surgical procedures. please inquire about becoming a foster parent at CCAS.
